Cantante e Blues Promoter Italo Britannico, nato nel 1981 a Waltham Forest (Londra) UK e cresciuto nella Gran Bretagna fino all’eta di 18 anni per poi trasferirs in provincia di Napoli.
Il suo percorso di cantante è iniziato con la musica swing, di cui l’ha fatto trascorre diversi anni nei locali e feste private, per poi iniziare a partecipare ai festival come il “Festival di Saint Vincent” (Ivrea) ed il “Festival di Sirignano”(Campania) per poi cantare su una programma televisiva (canale provinciale) Tele Luna.
Nel 2017, è iniziato il percorso Blues, dove ha fondato la sua band “Robert James Blues Band” dove ha scoperto l’amore anche per l’armonica e con questo ha trovato il suo mondo. Già nel primo anno della band è riuscito a fare oltre 40 eventi nella Campania e basso Lazio.
Percorrendo ormai la strada del blues, nel 2018 Robert James ha partecipato alla Dogana Blues Village una competizione dove ha vinto primo posto.
Nel 2019 ha South Italy Blues Connection (Matera), e sempre nel 2019 ha esibito alla Dogana Blues Festival.
Il percorso di Robert James l’ha spinto voler fare di più per il blues e nel 2019 ha dato vita al Blues Highway.it.
Ora Robert James a tutti gli effetti un Blues Promoter ed il suo Blues Highway aiuta blues band in tutta Italia avere la giusta visibilità, una realtà che ormai è cresciuto in Italia ed anche all’estero.
Nel 2020, è diventato anche co-organizzatore del Campania Blues Festival dove ha dato vita anche al primo evento live Blues Highway.dove sono arrivati 8 band da diversi paesi d’Italia ed anche aa sua band Robert James Blues Band ha esibito al festival. Nel occasione del Festival ha iniziato una nuova avventura da presentatore.
Nel 2021, Robert James ha fatto crescere Blues Highway radicalmente, con l’inizio di un percorso da Speaker radiofonico con Radio Sardegna Web “Note Blues”. Ormai considerato da tutti il Blues Promoter del blues in Italia, lanciando vari blues band italiane sulle radio in Inghilterra, Francia, Brasile, Australia, Belgio, USA ed altri.
Ha esibito al Calabria Blues Passion dove ha esibito insieme a Michele Biondi.
Nel 2022, ha iniziato una collaborazione con tutti i festival blues principali d’Italia come Bitonto Blues Festival, Liri Blues Festival, Sogliano Blues, Etna Blues Festival, Atri Blues Festival, Pignola in Blues, Seravezza Blues Festival e Dolomiti Soul & Blues Festival.
Nel 2023, il Blues Highway è sempre più presente, raggiungendo circa 4000 iscritti nel gruppo facebook ed ormai diventato un punto di riferimento per tutti i musicisti blues in Italia.
Dopo aver dedicato molto alle band in giro per Italia e la crescita di Blues Highway, Robert James ha ripeso l’attività con la band e ha l’intenzione di portare in giro il suo blues. To be Continued…

Robert James Ucciero, an english blues man that moved to Naples (Italy) in 1998.
Starting off as a singer of swing and soft music, playing at many events include the festival of Saint Vincent that takes place in North of Italy.
In 2017, the Robert James Blues Band was born, once he met the guitar player Leonardo Iodice, they decided to create a new blues band to bring so real english blues to all the venues around. And that is exactly what they did, in the first year over 40 gigs all around Campania and not only, with huge success everywhere to played. The band did have some various changes of the members.
but nevertheless Robert James decided to take the band to the next level and push the band towards various blues festivals.
